For those of you in the Austin area who are looking for a
talented, professional photographer I highly recommend Svetlana Photography.
We spent months searching for a newborn photographer who could capture
those precious first few days. One day we stumbled upon Svetlana's website
and contacted her. After seeing her portfolio, we signed up for our
newborn photo shoot. When we saw the photos, we were amazed! All of
our friends and family said that the photos were better than any others that had
ever seen. Since then, we have gone back for a six month photo shoot and
we are looking to schedule our one year photo shoot. We plan to use

There is
no word to describe Svetlana and the miracle that she gave to my husband and
I. I was never able to have the beautiful white wedding that I had
dreamed of until recently when my husband said "lets just do it".
No matter what age we are, all brides want to be Princess for that one special
day of their lives.
We had planned a beautiful outside wedding at our home at 7:00 in
the evening due to the August heat and had decorated everything for
picture taking so you can imagine my feelings when after months of no
rain it rained right before the wedding. All of our photographs had to
be taken in my bedroom and in the dark. Svetlana kept me busy reassuring
me that everything was going to be fine, kept me laughing so much my mouth
hurt at the end of the evening and continued to take photos of me and my
bridesmaids. During the ceremony I really did not see much of her and
after she took many photos of Robert and I and our families. I was
disappointed that everything that I had set up for photos did not work out,
that was until I saw the photos.
Svetlana did not just take photos of us, she somehow managed to capture our
personalities. I might not have seen Svetlana during the ceremony but she
must have been everywhere, the way she captured the Texas sky, my tears
saying my vows, when the balloon popped and the Preacher joked about a shotgun
wedding, when I said "I do" before I promised anything. Each
photo she took tells the story of our wedding. EVERYONE who has seen our
wedding photos has said the same thing, THEY HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT,
THEY ARE WORKS OF ART. What I have are beautiful works of art that
I will hand down to my daughter and her daughter and so forth, not put in
an album tucked in a drawer somewhere. These photos are so beautiful
that they would look beautiful on anyone's wall no matter who the people
were in them. No-one would ever know from the photos that the wedding was not
planned just the way it was photographed. How incredible is it that I
have hundreds of photos and not one of them would I want to hide. The
biggest problem is trying to figure out which ones to print. Svetlana made my
dream come true, I was Princess for the day and I have many, many beautiful

Svetlana was wonderful. I can not say enough good things
about her. She is professional and took the pictures that my daughter and
her fiance wanted. She checked each photo after she took it to make sure
that she had the shot. The church where my daughter was married in has
some architectural features that I was unaware of until I looked at the
photos. My daughter is in the military and so was not able to be there at
the first meeting. When she came home the week before the wedding Svetlana
was able to meet with us when we needed to. In addition my daughter is

I can't say enough about how GREAT Svetlana is.
She suited up and showed up when she said she was going to be there.
It was easy to meet and communicate with her before hand and share with
her my needs and ideas. I felt really comfortable with her.
She had great ideas for picture perfect moments and I was really pleased
with all of the pictures! She got a variety of pictures of all the
guests. She was also there for the "must not" miss
moments. I purchased package A with 7 hours of wedding photography,
high res cd, and 3 coffee table books. We had already interviewed
other photographers, and I felt like it was an answer to my prayers!
Some others I had talked to turned a hobby into a business and hadn't had
professional training, and they charged twice as much. Svetlana has
actually studied the art of photography and her pictures show! I
found out about Svetlana through a friend of mine who is a patron at Avant
Salon. Two of our circle in the last few months have used her
services for our weddings and been very happy with the recorded memories.
Svetlana was willing to spend ample time with me after the wedding to make
sure we had the coffee table book just the way I wanted it. Of
course she put it together but let me pick out the details and final
