Svetlana Frolova graduated from State Linguistic University of Nizhny Novgorod, Russia.  She is fluent in Russian, French and English.  She moved to Austin in 2002.

Her world experience and love of people influences her photography.  Her professional portfolio spans from the villages of India to shooting weddings in Austin, Texas. The common theme in Svetlana’s portraits, whether they are of a child, bride or villager is her ability to capture the spirit and beauty of the person she’s photographing  in an honest and artistic way.  

Svetlana's expertise is in wedding, studio and travel photography.  She’s published two travel photography books that insightfully capture the lifestyles of people living in remote areas of Russia and India.  All proceeds from the latter book benefit orphaned children in India.  Svetlana’s photography education includes numerous courses at ACC as well as workshops with world renowned photographers Andrew Eccles and Joe Buissink. 

In addition to photography, Svetalana enjoys relaxing at the keys of a piano playing classical music.
